Welcome to Blanch

The Little Country Church with the Big Christian Heart

Established in 1903, Blanch Baptist Church has faithfully served the community of Blanch and neighboring communities for over a century. Though our numbers are small, our love abound for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for his people. We welcome all those who likewise love Him and call on his name to join us in holy Christian fellowship.

For those living outside our community, the scenic drive, warm smiles, zeal for the truth, and spirit of Christ-like love make the visit worth the effort. Though most of our congregants live in the immediate area, other hail from the nearby towns of Danville and Ringgold to as far as Vincetown, NJ, and Boca Raton, FL.

Our Distinctives

As part of the historic Baptist confession, we seek a close, warm fellowship in the Spirit, unity and tolerance in secondary doctrines, and unyielding courage in defending and declaring the truth of the Gospel. Unwilling to separate on minor matters, our congregants hail from a diversity of background, including independent Baptist, Charismatic, and Presbyterian faith traditions.

Our varying backgrounds often lead to lively exchanges during our open-participation Sunday School sessions, yet we are united in affirming with the Apostle Paul that there is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope at your calling—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

Baptist Confession

Grounded in biblically-informed tradition, we look to the wisdom of those who have gone before us, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Biblical Teaching

We affirm the Bible as the inspired Word of God, profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness.

Pastoral Accountability

Our church encourages pastoral accountability and exhortation through the SBC and Beulah Baptist Association, where iron sharpens iron.
